This powerhouse cuts at 800 grit, leaving a fine finish that can be followed up by our Flawless Finishing Polish—if you’re feeling fancy. It’s a master at removing oxidation and eliminating swirl marks, that can get you to a wax-worthy finish in just one application. 

OceanCoat Application Tips: Because Your Boat Deserves the Royal Treatment

Alright, before you dive in, we recommend that you make sure your boat’s surface is clean, cool to the touch, and lounging in the shade. 

But hey, if you’re out there baking in the sun, OceanCoat will still perform like a champ. We just feel a bit sorry for you.

We like using a blended wool pad (60/40 Wool/Acrylic) from LakeCountryMFG.com or a Rupes Blue D-A Coarse pad. Using a foam pad with this product shouldn’t leave swirl marks behind and you can achieve results like our Medium Pearl. (Depends what kind of situation you’re in)

You can use a Variable Speed D-A (2500-3500rpm) or a Buffing Wheel at lowest speed to 1500rpm. Depends on your situation which speed will work best.
